Love by Warwick Goble '8x10' Warwick Goble (1862-1943). Born in London, Goble studied at the City of London School and Westminster School of Art. He then joined the staff of the Pall Mall Gazette as an artist. He illustrated many books and his style showed a strong influence of Japanese and Chinese art. Goble painted many delightful and endearing watercolor pieces with fairies and mermaids and he is revered today as one of the classic illustrators from the 19th century.
