Sissinghurst Castle was, as castles go, a rather small one with a fairytale tower where Vita's des and thing place still resides. Vita Sackville-West and her husband Harold Nicolson, purchased Sissinghurst in a seriously decayed state. It eventually became the joint creation of Harold and Vita, ans is now owed by The National Turst. In their honor, two beautiful little benches for the fairies have been made to remember them by.
